In the year 1996 was born Aakriti Builders and Developers which executed various multi-storied constructions like the apartments ‘Sarika’, ‘Sai Aakriti’ and ‘Anshul’. It must have been an auspicious beginning because from then on the company was destined to go from strength to strength, subsequently launching a mega-project of
100 flats named ‘Aakriti Enclave’. ‘Aakriti Enclave’ is considered a landmark in the Gulmohar locality that houses it. ADPL or Aakriti Dwellings Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in the year 1997 following which in the year 2000 ADPL launched yet another mega-project, this time on a bigger scale, with the construction of 400 beautiful duplex units at Nehru Nagar in Bhopal called ‘Aakriti Gardens’. This was followed by another success in the form of ‘Aakriti Retreat’ a project involving the development of 200 plots in E-9, Bhopal. Success followed success and with it diversification. On September 2002, the company had taken over a sugar mill with a crushing capacity of 1200 MT per day at Kareli, district Narsinghpur. ADPL is currently also engaged in highway construction and today has progressed to become an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, among the few to have achieved this coveted landmark. The turnover of the Group runs into more than Rs. 3000 lakhs and is looked upon as a symbol of quality and commitment having very strong credentials. The company has well thought out plans to develop the real estate markets in neighboring Indore, Raipur as well as in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Future plans also include joint ventures with government agencies, plans to increase the highway construction business and to effect an increase in its sugar mill capacity from the current 1200 MT to 2500 MT per day.
