Aakriti Eco-City is a project very close to Shaunak Ghodke's heart. So much so that the entire operation, right from the vision to the minutest detail, has been nurtured, planned and given final shape by him. To execute the project exactly the way he envisioned it, Shaunak took upon himself the task of assembling the entire team of creative talent for Aakriti Eco-City. A renowned architect known for outstanding work, Shaunak's deep interest and involvement in this project demonstrates a perfect understanding of the 'need of the hour'. It is an understanding that is not just in step with the times, but ahead of it. 'Impact of actions on the environment' and 'the importance of maintaining the balance of the eco-system' - subjects usually taken lightly in the construction industry - is a passionate issue for Shaunak - clearly seen in the thought behind the township's concept. This passion is backed by an equally firm commitment, evident in Shaunak's own words - "At Aakriti Eco-City, all decisions, be it planning, material or envisaged lifestyles of the inhabitants, have been taken, and uncompromisingly adhered to, keeping in mind their overall ecological impact."

The extremely significant areas of plumbing, sewage and recycling in Aakriti Eco-City have been entrusted to this utility consultant, an expert with many years of experience. Mehta's views on the subject reflect his professional approach - "We have always believed and practiced the "3 R" theory of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle in our projects which is quite evident from our Water Conservation, Solid Waste Management, Rain Water Harvesting and Power Saving systems."
 

The interior designing talent of Milind Bargal has fully come to the fore in this project. The interiors of each room have been done to match and, in many cases, even surpass the outdoors. "We have tried to give each room a special touch that will stand out on its own and also be a part of the whole concept."

Aakriti Eco-City's eco friendly looks with ecologically designed landscapes, gardens and the outdoors can be attributed to this landscaping consultant. A 'freshness of approach' is evident from his words - " We have tried to enrich our ecology by practicing small but effective ideas like recycled-wood alternatives, garden irrigation by recycled water from kitchens and bathrooms, complimentary designer cloth-bags to reduce plastic bags and other such ideas."
 

The man who has witnessed a professional 'high rise' due to his quality of work has been instrumental in executing the highrise apartments in Aakriti Eco-City, along with all the bungalows. In this context,
Vaswani has, in his own words, "designed the concrete jungle to mix and match with the natural greenery around it."
